The Area Plan serves as Healthy Generations Area Agency on Aging’s strategic roadmap for delivering core services including meals, transportation, and caregiver support. The Plan outlines proposed objectives and strategies to address the needs of the most vulnerable older population residing in the City of Fredericksburg and Counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford, and ensures compliance with requirements of the Older Americans Act. Community feedback is essential to refining these programs and ensuring they meet the needs of older adults across our region.
Each year, HGAAA hosts a 30-day Public Comment Period and a Public Hearing to receive feedback on the Area Plan. These meetings are typically held in May or June of the year. We also welcome your comments throughout the year.
